Engineer (gn*) Technical Support - Connected Services

Engineer (gn*) Technical Support - Connected Services
Tasks
- Support and work with Gestras subsidiaries to design, commission and support gateway connection from customer plants to Gestra Cloud Application
- Work with an interdisciplinary cooperation wide team to support and develop Gestra Cloud Application within the subsidiaries
- Provide technical expertise and liaison with 3rd-parties and systems integrators to support the instrumentation / control system/ edge gateway / system design, specification and sourcing
- Provide full life-cycle level 3 support for Gestra Cloud Application
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Technical Engineering discipline (e.g. Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Digital Technology or familiar)
- solid understanding of on-premise industrial automation systems (PLC, SCADA, BMS) and how to interface to them for IoT
- Wiring and Programming of PLC’s and IoT Gateways as well as connecting them to the Internet / Cloud on customer site while fulfilling electrical standards and regulations
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in setting up wirless Sensor solutions via LoRa / NBIoT or familiar
- Strong verbal /written communication and data presentation skills (PowerPoint or similar)
- Excellent communication skills, fluent written and spoken English
