The level switch NRS 1-51 is used in conjunction with level electrodes NRG 1...-.. as high level alarm in steam boilers and (pressurised) hot-water plants. A high level alarm prevents the water level from exceeding the preset max. water level (HW) and for this purpose switches off e. g. the feedwater supply.
The GESTRA FPS Stations (Steam-Powered Condensate-Return Stations) are plug-in systems specifically designed to collect and pump hot condensate; commonly returned for use as boiler feedwater. The FPS Station is available with either single or duplex pumps, mounted on a single base plate, that can be used for duty only or duty/stand-by applications.
The URS 60 / URS 61 safety control unit cyclically evaluates data telegrams from up to four safety sensors of types NRG 1..., NRG 2…, LRG 1… and TRV 5. The data are transferred to an ISO 11898 CAN bus via the CANopen protocol and saved. The safety functions are monitored by cyclical self-tests. The two integrated relays are switched off in the event of alarms or failures. Function tests and failure diagnosis can be conducted using either the control unit or the operating terminal.
The equipment prevents the backflow of liquids or gases in pipes. The one-piece valve disk opens and closes as a function of the flow direction of the fluid in the pipe, thereby ensuring unidirectional flow. Equipment of type CB 14 is opened and closed solely by the pressure of the fluid.
The flash vessels VD 23 and VD 26 in conjunction with GESTRA float traps type UNA 23 or UNA 26 form a compact system. The flash vessel VD 23 is equipped with the float trap UNA 23. The flash vessel VD 26 is equipped with the float trap UNA 26. Both flash vessels consist of a vessel with a condensate inlet, an outlet for the flash steam and a float trap type UNA. Both versions are available as vertical and horizontal design. Flash vessels are used to separate flash steam from condensate. The flash vessels VD... are sized in accordance with the operating data.
The thermostatic steam trap features minimum stagnant area and a corrosion-resistant membrane regulator unaffected by waterhammer. Used for discharging condensate and air-venting steam in sterile and aseptic applications. The membrane regulator with rolling ball features a selfcentering valve cone that can move freely, thereby ensuring steam-tight shut-off unaffected by dirt particles. High response sensitivity thanks to small dimensions of the regulator (evaporation thermostat). Automatic air-venting and discharge of condensate without any banking-up within the whole pressure / temperature range. The opening temperature is approximately 5 K below the boiling point.
